About the event
Dr. Greg Brown will present Robert Owen’s partner, William Maclure, as both an international patron of science and education and an example of the spirit of equality and progress in the young United States. Maclure brought scientists and educators to New Harmony on the Boatload of Knowledge and continued his involvement with education and science here throughout his life and in his will.
