About the event
Often referred to as the "Father of American Entomology," Thomas Say was one of the scientists who accompanied William Maclure and the so-called "Boatload of Knowledge" to New Harmony in 1826. Randy Patrick's presentation will explore Say's remarkable contributions to American science and his lasting connection to New Harmony's intellectual and educational legacy.

Randy R. Patrick is a taxonomist specializing in Cenozoic/Paleozoic Vertebrates, Modern Marine Mollusca, and Marine Invertebrates.
